Alkargo introduced a Quality
Assurance system in the year 1996, later backed by the attainment
of the Aenor Company Register certificate in accordance with
the 2000 ISO UNE – IN 9000 regulation.
A Quality Improvement system
based on the EFQM model has also been introduced with the
aim of increasing customer satisfaction.
Alkargo has carried out short-circuit resistance testing on
different types of oil transformers and dry encapsulated-type
transformers, and has obtained the corresponding certification
from qualified European laboratories. It was also one of the
first European manufacturers to obtain the E2 C2 F1 qualification
in environmental, climate and fire behaviour certification
for encapsulated dry-type transformers.
Alkargo is an active member
of UNESA (the Spanish Electrical Industry Association), and
participates in the working parties and technical committees
for drawing up European transformer standards. It also actively
participates in the GTGT (Spanish Working Party on Technical
Management), within the Ministry of Science and Technology.
